Your Seasonal Results!

Thank you for taking the Seasonal Assessment Quiz!

Did you answer more A's than D's in the quiz? I hope you took note and started to get curious about your own behaviours and wellbeing? Below you will find out what all the different answers relate to. The more A's you chose for instance, the more your Winter Energy is out of balance,

Let's find out where you are at!

A: Your Winter Energy is out of balance!

Small changes and shifts in our behaviours all add up.

Rather like compound interest, it has us become more in charge of our Pain and what it is telling us, layer by layer - and more importantly posting us what to do next for ourselves. Pain is guiding us to have a deeper relationship with our greatest asset which is ourselves. We have far more potential to UnRavel the next steps in making life far more of the adventure we know it can be. Nature and her seasons can be harnessed so that we can become more peaceful. To find the fun and lightness that does become possible the more we embrace a different way of seeing, feeling and hearing an integrated perspective.

Here's a few tips to balance yourself in the Winter:

1. Keeping yourself well hydrated with room temperature water will help most Winter imbalances, emotional or physical pain you are in, accumulatively and significantly. Remember water is like oil and petrol to a car.

2. Practice and learn how to listen to your emotional and physical pain. It may feel odd at first but start having a dialogue with yourself and discover how many unnecessary risks you take or how much you play safe in your life. Is your pain connected to pushing yourself too hard for instance or could it be the exact opposite.

3. Don't let yourself get stagnant and stuck by not doing enough that takes you out of your comfort zone.

4. BE CAREFUL around all electromagnetic devices. Easier said than done but very important for our Winter energy. As an example take out of your bedrooms any Tvs. Discipline yourself to leave your phones outside of your bedroom. Find other ways of having alarm bells go off!! Not a popular thing to do but your Winter energy will be incredibly grateful!

B: Your Spring Energy is out of balance!

Small changes and shifts in our behaviours all add up

Rather like compound interest, it has us become more in charge of our Pain and what it is telling us, layer by layer - and more importantly posting us what to do next for ourselves. Pain is guiding us to have a deeper relationship with our greatest asset which is ourselves. We have far more potential to UnRavel the next steps in making life far more of the adventure we know it can be. Nature and her seasons can be harnessed so that we can become more peaceful. To find the fun and lightness that does become possible the more we embrace a different way of seeing, feeling and hearing an integrated perspective.

Here's a few tips to balance your Spring Energy:

1. Practice and learn the difference between your NO (this is something you are not going to do for valid reasons) and your resistance to something because of your comfort zone. Spring is all about decision making, learning this will allow you to make more balanced and healthier choices, with you in mind and not always so benevolently towards others. As they say on flights put your own seatbelt on first!.

2. When our Spring Energy is out of balance we often need what Integrated Medicine calls "Blood Nourishing foods". Here are a couple of things to include in your diet if you can:

Liver pate, Red wine, Dandelion, Apricots, Dark Leafy Vegetables, Bone Marrow. Please be careful around fashion dictated diets that wear out and tire the quality of your blood.

3. Are you going into the Spring with a Spring in your step?! Consider a tonic for your body. Old fashioned but still relevant to us today are blood nourishing tonics, building up your iron levels with two steaks in a week for instance or a week of tonic. An over the counter tonic will be available that will suit your preference. Notice if your energy picks up.

4. Assess how repressed you are around your own anger, frustrations - some of which are a really healthy guide to make necessary changes for your own well being. However if you are really always being pitched into emotional overload, rage, impatience and taking it on others then you really do need to take stock sooner rather than later. Grief by the way is often under anger and is a very misunderstood emotion that can lie dormant in our bodies and energy fields.

C: Your Summer Energy is out of balance!

Here's a couple of tips to balance your Summer Energy:

1. Spend time evaluating who you would like in your own "boardroom" or internal committee. Put people you admire, who you want one day to be similar to, with their actions for instance. Swop over deliberately the harsh bullying critics and carping voices in your internal boardroom with people who love you unconditionally and who will support you in your life. This is a fast way to step up living in an integrated passionately engaged way in your life.

It also allows you to stop winding up pain levels and helps you subdue them.

2. Watch out for some of the following symptoms in Summer that may indicate that your small intestine is not happy: abdominal pain, scanty dark urine, burning pain on urination, severe mental restlessness, ulcers in your mouth, a twisting pain going around your back. Add more focus to what you are doing, eating or interacting with that is tricky to sort through. Your small intestine helps you sort things through on every level.

3. A summer stiff neck can be the result of an evening breeze so keep your neck protected from big shifts in temperatures.

We have added two more here as there are two extra functions and energetic patterns to your Summer system.

4. Become aware of exercise around the heart functioning. For instance running can strain and weaken the circulatory system. If you want to integrate exercise in your routine, please allow yourself time to figure out your true intentions with exercise and do your research

5. Bring rituals into your life. Find ways that suits your own passions. If it's regularly listening to wonderful music, for example, then keep to the commitments to do that on a regular basis.

D: Your LATE Summer Energy is out of balance!

Here's a couple of tips to balance your Late Summer Energy:

1. Aim to make your budget with your food shopping and where remotely possible organic, as you will increase your overall nutrition by 40%. Find ways creatively of improving the quality of the food products that become your regular sustenance. (Begin to take on board also the chemicals used in many products that we buy - wash them first and before using - vinegar in water will help clean fruit and vegetables)

2. What you eat makes a profound difference to your overall sense of vitality, however equally being gentle and kind to yourself and not allowing rigid or obsessive control to rule your eating is of equal importance. Experiment with what food groups make you feel lighter and happier. If you can spend at least one day - if not two a month when you really concentrate on eating less and allowing your body to rest. For instance have a fruit day with some bone broth and see how it makes you feel the next day. Build in new habits that allow yourself to step back and see what works for you in particular - no matter what your busy schedule is. Make time for yourself around food and your relationship with it.

3. It is vital to really take on board how important it is to create harmony around eating for your body to maximize the nourishment to be taken from food that you eat. How often do you allow yourself to eat with no distractions and make it a peaceful environment for instance when you eat?

4. Be aware of your own harvests ( internal accounts - how you are really - on a mind, body and even in your spirit level?)- think in terms of the grain stores all over the world when the Summer crops have been harvested. Are your own internal stores full or depleted? The Late Summer within us allows us to transform and transport our harvests day after day and year after year. Taking this quiz allows us to take stock and be real about our own internal accounts(harvests) and allow the next layer of transformation. What needs to happen for you to successfully get through this next few months.

5. Notice the sound of your own voice - are you finding yourself having a singing tone to your voice or do you notice in the mirror that you have a yellow tone to your face. If so cut back on what we call damp producing products. Yup I am sorry - Ice Cream is out!!

Peanuts, oranges and all Dairy products. You can also research what are called damp producing products in Integrated Chinese Medicine.

E: Your Autumn Energy is out of Balance!

Here's a couple of tips to balance your Autumn Energy:

1. Recognise and acknowledge other people's energy. Does it feel polluted or toxic? If so, even if it is uncomfortable, take the opportunity to practice being present with them, exuding the quality of your own life. In doing so you may in fact be able to facilitate them letting go of their toxicity and at the same time balance yourself alongside them, not comparing yourself to others but instead let your own life lead the way.

2. Listen to your own language on a daily basis, can you tell if it's polluted or not? Are you being vulgar and contaminating in your words? Are you purifying or polluting with your verbal noise? This applies to both conversation you have with others as well as yourself.

3. How do you view the emotion grief and sadness? Do you know how important it is to consistently actually be able to feel this emotion.? It strengthens your Autumn season and energy to be able to express sadness according to the sad events that do go on in all of lives. So begin to monitor if you are blocked in this area. How often do you cry for instance? Sometimes I often give homework to people who never cry to start practising! . Watch moving videos and allow yourself time to feel sad. We often do not want to feel sad as we have not dealt with events in the past so we instinctively are preventing ourselves from feeling out of control and depth. To become stronger in this area we do need to monitor where we are at. We also can be constantly in sadness and loss so that also will put a huge strain on your pain levels.

4. The Grief recovery Handbook is a huge resource on this subject and will open your eyes to how exhausting unexpressed grief is.

Thank you so much for taking part in this quiz.
